La Carrera GT est dévoilée lors du Mondial de l'automobile de 2000. Sa présentation donnant lieu à une mise en scène particulière : le jour de l'ouverture du salon, au petit matin, la Carrera GT descend les Champs-Élysées pour terminer sa course devant la pyramide du Louvre, où les agences de presse, invitées par Porsche, attendent sans savoir quel véhicule va leur être présenté. Avant cette présentation, Porsche avait en effet maintenu le secret absolu sur ce modèle, qui fut donc une véritable surprise.
Digne successeur de la légendaire GT1, la supercar Carrera GT fût produite entre 2003 et 2006. Elle révèle par son design et sa prestance des gènes issus tout droit de la course automobile. Construite en série exclusive à seulement 1 270 exemplaires, la supercar est équipée d'un moteur dix cylindres en V avec une lubrification à carter sec. La cylindrée du moteur atmosphérique V10 de 5.5 litres, conçue plutôt pour l'utilisation sur circuit, fut augmentée à 5.7 litres pour cette série.
Avec une puissance de 612 ch à 8 000 tr/min et une vitesse maximale de 330 km/h, la Carrera GT a redéfini les standards de l'époque. Cette force motrice est transmise par une boîte six rapports à commande manuelle très bien étagée et facile à manipuler grâce à son emplacement relevé sur la console centrale.
Le modèle que nous vous proposons est l’une des rares livrées en France, et qui plus est, comptabilise un des plus faibles kilométrages actuellement disponible sur le marché européen. Nous avons la facture d’achat neuve originale ainsi que des justificatifs d'entretien exclusvivement effectués chez Porsche. Nous connaissons bien les trois propriétaires (tous trois collectionneurs) qui ont eu le plaisir de posséder cette voiture et de l’entretenir rigoureusement.
Le véhicule n'a jamais été repeint, la peinture est strictement d'origine et dans un état absolument immaculé. Les pneus sont neufs, la voiture a bénéficié d’une grosse révision au Centre Porsche Stuttgart en février 2021. Un film de protection intégral Xpel Ultimate Plus a également été posé sur l'auto pour préserver la carrosserie. Cette Porsche Carrera GT représente l'opportunité rarissime d'acquérir l'un des plus beaux exemplaires de ce modèle légendaire.

HISTORY
The Carrera GT owes its origins to a Porsche motorsport project which didn’t reach the end. In fact, its naturally aspirated V10 was the very same powerplant which was supposed to power Porsche’s new Le Mans prototype at the time. After a study was presented at the Paris Salon in 2000, the customer interest was so overwhelming that Porsche decided to go through with building a production version, which was very similar to the concept. Arguably the last analogue supercar, with its rewarding driving experience, screaming V10 engine, and 6-speed manual transmission, the Carrera GT was at the same time civilized and did offer luxury its rival from Maranello did not. The interior was a combination of Kevlar, carbon fiber and leather. The roof section could also be removed as a Targa to better enjoy the exhaust symphony. In total, only 1270 cars left the factory in Leipzig.
OUR CARRERA GT
Our Carrera GT was delivered on the 14th of July 2006 through Porsche Zentrum Karlsruhe in Germany to its first and only German owner. Specified in the incredible color of Fayence Yellow which is the perfect fit to a Carrera GT, and quite rare, at only 89 cars made for the world in the color, of which 44 were made for the North American market and thus with the questionable side reflectors. The interior was kept simple but tasteful in black with yellow stitching and carbon fiber options. The Porsche was registered in its delivery city and driven sparingly over the years, totaling on 18,515km over 16 years, which amounts to less than 1,200km per year. No cost was spared in maintaining this Carrera GT, with a service book filled with services, fluid changes, and condition checks, all done either at the delivery Porsche Zentrum Karlsruhe or Porsche Zentrum Stuttgart just in front of the museum. The history of the car is limpid and clear and the mileage fully traceable. A stack full of invoices accompanies this marvel from Stuttgart, with as much as 21k Euros invested in 2018, as well as its full luggage set, and its original keys. It presents today in an almost new-car condition and is fully paint protected, with the carbon weave visible throughout.
The Carrera GT is without a doubt the greatest road car to ever come out of the Stuttgart firm and an instant icon. Often referred to as a “Widow Maker” given its sometimes unpredictable nature, it has gotten much more docile thanks to the new tire technology and is thus an absolute joy to drive. Extremely collectable nowadays as it is increasingly difficult to find good examples like the one offered here. Let’s not forget that this is a one-owner, German car, with a detailed and complete service history, finished in a rare color and showing only 18.5k km from new. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Dieser Carrera GT war ursprünglich für den Amerikanischen Markt bestimmt. Da während des Fertigungsprozesses der amerikanische Kunde seine Bestellung stornierte, wurde die Fahrzeugquote frei und unserem Kunden in Deutschland angeboten. Zu diesem Zeitpunkt war der Fahrzeugbau weitestgehend abgeschlossen. Auf Grund dessen wurde der GT nach Kaufbestätigung für den deutschen Markt zurückgerüstet. Dieser Prozess fand vor Auslieferung / Zulassung und direkt bei der Produktion in Leipzig statt.

Das Fahrerlebnis ist so unverfälscht wie beeindruckend: Schon die Formensprache spiegelt den Charakter des Carrera GT als kompromisslosen Hochleistungssportler wieder. Er trägt alle Werte eines modernen Rennwagens in sich – überdurchschnittliche Leistung, extremer Leichtbau, hohe Sicherheit. Ursprünglich für den Einsatz in Le Mans konzipiert, wurde das ultraflache Mittelmotorauto mit der Kohlefaserkarosserie in einer Exklusivserie von 1.270 Einheiten in Leipzig gefertigt.
