Classic Car Design vous propose cette superbe Aston Martin DB7 Alfred Dunhill Edition. Il s’agit d’une série limitée prévue à 150 exemplaires numérotés en collaboration avec la fameuse marque de prêt à porter et d’accessoires de luxe anglaise. Finalement seulement 78 exemplaires seront produits. Sur cette série, les autos en boite mécanique sont rares, en conduite à gauche elles le sont encore plus et celle-ci est de surcroit d’origine française ! Juste une auto introuvable ! Finalisé par le fameux Ian Callum, son style fait l’unanimité et elle sera la base du renouveau d’Aston-Martin.
A l’extérieur, toutes les « Dunhill » portent la même couleur « metallic platinum ». Les jantes sont gris foncé et agrémentées d’un enjoliveur central reprenant la forme d’un boitier de montre ! La carrosserie est superbe avec très peu de traces d’usage. Les bulles de phare sont bien transparentes.
A l’intérieur, sur l’entrée de porte, on remarque tout de suite la plaque gravée portant le numéro de l’exemplaire, celle-ci est la 42ème. L’ensemble de la sellerie est en très bel état. Là aussi on trouve sur cette série limitée un accord de couleurs spécifique : le cuir est gris foncé avec passepoils gris clair et tous les inserts adoptent une finition aluminium brossé. Une pendule siglée « Alfred Dunhill » trône au centre de la console centrale.
Mécaniquement, nous avons affaire à une auto régulièrement entretenue donc tout est en ordre de marche. Un dossier de factures sur prêt de 20 ans accompagne la voiture. Le 6 cylindres en ligne offre une sonorité discrète mais incite à libérer les 335ch pour entendre le sifflement caractéristique du compresseur Eaton.
La DB7 a profité de l’arrivée de Ford au capital d’Aston Martin, c’est une auto qui marque une rupture avec les modèles précédents. Techniquement dérivée de sa cousine jaguar XJS et développée par Tom Walkinshaw Racing, elle permet à la marque de reprendre sa place dans le haut de gamme automobile. C’est incontestablement une des Aston Martin à collectionner, surtout dans cette configuration rarissime !

Classic Car Design offers you this superb Aston Martin DB7 Alfred Dunhill Edition. This is a limited edition of 150 numbered cars produced in collaboration with the famous British luxury clothing and accessories brand. In the end, only 78 examples were produced. Mechanical gearboxes are rare in this series, and left-hand drive cars are even rarer and this one is of French origin! Just a car you can't find anywhere! Finished by the famous Ian Callum, its style was unanimously acclaimed and it was to form the basis of Aston-Martin's revival.
On the outside, all Dunhill cars were finished in the same metallic platinum colour. The wheels are dark grey, with a central hubcap in the shape of a watch case ! The bodywork is superb, with very few signs of use. The headlight bubbles are transparent.
Inside, on the doorway, the engraved plaque bearing the car's number is immediately noticeable - this one is the 42nd. All the upholstery is in very good condition. The leather is dark grey with light grey piping and all the inserts have a brushed aluminium finish. An 'Alfred Dunhill' clock sits in the centre of the centre console.
Mechanically, the car has been regularly serviced, so everything is in working order. The car comes with a file of invoices dating back 20 years. The in-line 6-cylinder engine has a discreet sound, but you have to unleash the 335 bhp to hear the characteristic whistle of the Eaton supercharger.
The DB7 benefited from Ford's arrival in Aston Martin's capital, and is a car that marks a break with previous models. Technically derived from its cousin the Jaguar XJS and developed by Tom Walkinshaw Racing, it enabled Aston Martin to reclaim its place at the top end of the automotive market. It is undoubtedly one of the Aston Martins to collect, especially in this extremely rare configuration !

Wheel Become propose à la vente cette extraordinaire Aston Martin V8 Vantage 4.3 boite mécanique de 385cv. La Baby Aston doit son incroyable ligne de carrosserie au designer danois Henrik Fisker. Celui-ci a su créer un coupé élégant et soigné grâce à des détails discrets tels que les poignées de portes encastrées, les sorties d’échappement intégrées au diffuseur et l’incontournable calandre Aston-Martin. Sous le capot on trouve le V8 4.3 de 385 chevaux qui offre une sonorité exacerbée et franche surtout au-delà de 4000 tr/min où le grognement devient hurlement. La GT se voit dotée d’une boite de vitesses manuelle pour offrir encore plus de plaisir et de sensation à son conducteur.
Notre exemplaire se démarque par son hallucinante configuration, à l’extérieur on retrouve un très joli vert Anglais (Ghillies Green) et à l’intérieur une alliance parfaite entre un cuir Havane (red fox) et un cuir vert. Pour faire écho à celui-ci, la moquette et le ciel de toit en alcantara sont eux aussi verts. Ce combo de couleur est vraiment réussi et renforce le coté british de cette petite anglaise. De plus, afin qu’il n’y ait plus de doute sur l’achat de la voiture, elle bénéficie d’un historique d’entretien complet carnet à l’appui, la dernière révision venant d’être effectuée le 19/04/2024. Et surtout gros atout, l’embrayage a été remplacé à 77091km, il est donc quasiment neuf. Il n’y a donc plus qu’à profiter de ce coupé hors du commun.

Bij het zien van sommige auto’s denk je niet alleen terug aan de tijd dat ze uitkwamen maar ook de mensen die ze naar de markt brachten. In dit geval staat de Aston Martin V8 Vantage in rechtstreekse relatie tot de toenmalige CEO van Aston Martin: Ulrich Bez. Deze markante Duitser had een visie voor Aston Martin die met de kennis van nu niet anders kan worden omschreven dan: grotesk. De Vantage zou de auto moeten worden die de Porsche 911 van de troon zou stoten. Er zou werkelijk geen enkele reden meer zijn om nog langer een product uit Stuttgart te verkiezen boven de handgebouwde Britse sportauto’s uit Gaydon. Met de kennis van nu kunnen we wel stellen dat Aston Martin in die missie niet geslaagd is. Zoals wel vaker in de geschiedenis van Aston Martin ontbrak het de Britse firma aan financiele slagkracht om de markt te kunnen bestormen op een manier die de 911 zou doen vergeten. Misschien was dat maar beter ook. De Aston Martin V8 Vantage is namelijk heden ten dage nog steeds een veel exclusievere auto dan bijna elke 911.
De Aston Martin V8 Vantage werd de eerste jaren geleverd met een 4.3 V8 motor die 385 pk levert. Het hier getoonde exemplaar is bovendien uitgevoerd met heerlijk precies schakelende handgeschakelde transmissie met zes versnellingen. Het is een auto die niet is ontworpen maar waarbij het lijkt alsof het ontwerp is door een beeldhouwer is tot een prachtig sculptuur is verwerkt. Iedere lijn, iedere vouw is een waar genot. De carrosserie van dit exemplaar verkeert in uitmuntende conditie. De lage kilometerstand en de onberispelijke onderhoudshistorie laten zien dat het overduidelijk om een gekoesterd exemplaar gaat en de auto louter in handen is geweest van liefhebbers. De zwarte lak heeft een prachtig diepe glans met slechts wat hele lichte sporen van gebruik die passen bij de kilometerstand en leeftijd van de auto. De velgen zijn alleen volledig vrij van beschadigingen en zijn voorzien van goede banden in correcte maten. De passingen van de carrosserie zijn overal gelijk en het plaatwerk is mooi dun. Bij het zien van de carrosserie wordt direct duidelijk dat de auto geen schadeverleden heeft. Aan de achterzijde vallen die twee prachtige uitlaten op en wanneer u driekwart van achter kijkt valt op hoe heerlijk gedrongen de carrosserie is.
Het interieur is heerlijk doeltreffend en fraai opgezet. Het straalt een bepaalde sfeer uit die alleen een Britse automaker kan bouwen. Het zwarte leder is heerlijk soepel, keurig verzorgd en voorzien van sportieve rode stiksels. De sportstoelen geven heerlijk veel steun en sluiten perfect aan. Uiteraard zijn ze elektrisch verstelbaar en zult u altijd een heerlijke zitpositie vinden. Het dashboard is eveneens met leder bekleed en de draaiknoppen voor de climate control zijn van metaal. Het meest opvallende en meest geliefde onderdeel van de cockpit is echter de pook die uit de transmissie tussen steekt. Dit exemplaar is namelijk handgeschakeld en maakt het rijden tot een nóg groter feest. Want ook bij een Aston Martin telt: het maakt niet uit hoe goed de auto er uit ziet als het niet ook een feest is om er mee te rijden. Uiteraard zijn zaken die u van een auto van dit kaliber mag verwachten allemaal aanwezig. De Vantage beschikt onder andere over een boordcomputer, parkeersensoren en veel meer.
De techniek is perfect onderhouden en kan dankzij de lage kilometerstand nog vele jaren mee. Ondanks lage kilometerstand, zijn er voldoende servicerecords aanwezig om de stand onmiskenbaar te bevestigen. De Aston Martin V8 Vantage is met recht een klassieker van de toekomst. Die prachtige lijnen, dat weergaloze motorgeluid en die goede rijeigenschappen maken dat het niet anders kan dat men nu en in de toekomst dit model een warm hart blijft toedragen.
Uiteraard is de auto volledig door ons gecontroleerd en wordt de auto afgeleverd met een Nederlands kenteken en een nieuwe APK en onderhoudsbeurt.
De prijs van deze auto is inclusief een geldige APK, de auto wordt gepoetst, op uw naam overgeschreven en tevens heeft de auto een uitvoerige inspectie en vloeistoffencontrole gehad. Onderhoud en garantie bieden wij u graag tegen een meerprijs aan. Onze showroom is op zondag en woensdag alleen op afspraak geopend. The DB7 series first came out in 1994 as a base series, positioned below the custom-built V8 Virage series. It shared some resources with the Jaguar XJS and also the Jaguar XJ220.
However, the DB7 was surely a degree higher than Jaguar in terms of price and luxury quotient.
In 1999, the more powerful DB7, the V12 Vantage was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show.
Its 5.9 litre, 48-valve, V12 engine produced 420bhp and 400lb/ft of torque. Aston Martin claimed it had a top speed of 165mph and would accelerate from 0–60mph in 4.9 seconds.
The chassis was extensively redesigned and improved to cope with an almost 33% increase in power. Bigger Brembo brakes, new front wishbones and a now double-wishbone set-up at the back were more than enough to handle a V12 that was soon to appear in the Vanquish.
Ian Callum was in charge of styling revisions and the staggering beauty of the original DB7 was made more masculine with revised flanks, new door sills, a new rear bumper and a wider front grille.
Inside, a red starter button was integrated into the centre console, close to a new analogue clock that replaced the previous model’s digital one.
The new sports seats were more comfortable, gave better support when driving as hard as the latest car was capable and also allowed greater interior space
ABOUT THIS SPECIFIC EXAMPLE
This beautiful example was originally delivered in Belgium.
It really is a collectors example in an absolute beautiful specification and condition. It has been very tastefully ordered in a classic Stronsway Silver with a black leather interior.
The DB7 is newly delivered the 21st of April 2003.
What makes this DB7 especially special is its extremely low mileage. Only 23,000 km have been driven with the car since 2003.
But thanks to its low mileage, the car is in an exceptional condition.
The car currently has a Dutch registration but we can assist with registration in other countries.
The former owner brought the Aston Martin to Aston Martin dealer Cito in Eindhoven and asked them to do any action needed to bring the car not only optical but also technical in perfect condition. This resulted in an invoice of € 14.000,- euro.
4 new tires have been installed recently as well so the car is ready to be enjoyed by a new custodian.
CONDITION EXTERIOR
Having covered only 22.000 kilometers since new it is clear that the exterior condition of the Aston Martin is beautiful.
One can find a very minor chip at the boot but furthermore the condition of the Aston Martin is impressively nice.
Even the wheels don’t show any “parking” damages and the front window does not show any stone chips or other damages.
Overall the exterior condition of this Aston Martin is very nice.
CONDITION INTERIOR
Looking at the interior, one can see that the car has driven very few kilometers.
Apart from minor wear on the drivers seat, the entire interior is in a beautiful condition. All buttons and switches are in as new condition without any signs of use.
The interior of the DB7 is as pleasing to the eye as the exterior. The shape of the interior was designed by Scottish designer Ian Callum and has been hailed as the best looking British car since the Jaguar E-type.
The beautiful walnut trim is also in a very nice condition.
DRIVING EXPERIENCE
The DB7 was never intended to be a car for really twisty roads but it will still be fun trying it out on some of the twisty roads in the Alps or the coast-side roads around the Cote D’Azur.
Mid-corner there is plenty of feedback through the steering wheel. Grip is good too, enabling the driver to transfer the high amount of torque to the asphalt.
With its 420 bhp, its a powerful car. Very powerful for a car from that time. One can feel the power once the accelerator is pushed, but one can drive the car with such each and smoothness when necessary.
