Saab 96 uit 1975.
Het gaat om een zogenaamd “gestrand project”. Ik heb de auto juni 2023 gekocht. Alle laswerk is klaar. Verder zijn de remmen vernieuwd: remtangen voorzijde zijn gereviseerd inclusief nieuwe RVS zuigers, remblokken voor zijn vernieuwd, de remslangen voor zijn vernieuwd, achter zijn nieuwe wielremcilinders geplaatst, nieuwe remschoenen en nieuwe remslangen. Ook de hoofdremcilinder is vernieuwd; de rembekrachtiger is vervangen door een goed gebruikt exemplaar.
De voor- en achterspatborden van de auto zijn van polyester, dus roestvrij. De binnenspatborden achterzijde zijn matig (bekend punt) maar zeker nog APK-waardig. Vanaf volgend jaar is auto overigens APK vrij.
De versnellingsbak - berucht bij deze auto’s- is volgens de vorige eigenaar gereviseerd; hij schakelt perfect en geruisloos.
Wat moet er nog gebeuren:
-het laadstroomlampje brandt, dus de dynamo of spanningsregelaar is defect.
-de motor loopt maar lijkt een te arm mengsel te krijgen, ondanks de compleet gereviseerde carburateur; de motor trekt alleen op volle choke.
-de benzinepomp is kapot maar er is een nieuwe bij. (Loopt nu tijdelijk met een elektrische benzinepomp, maar die wordt niet meeverkocht).
-de auto heeft lang niet gereden, waardoor de besturing zwaar gaat. De fusees kunnen met vetspuit worden gesmeerd, maar de smeernippels zijn nu nog verstopt.
-er zijn nog details af te werken en er is her en der nog wat roest.
De auto mag weg omdat ik een nieuw project heb dat ik leuker vind (Saab 900 T8 S). Vaste prijs: € 1.950,00.

Un des 1000 exemplaires fabriqués encore en circulation.
Véhicule entièrement restauré il y a une vingtaine d'année : caisse mise à nu, peinture, intérieur neuf, moteur neuf.
Depuis l'auto a roulé et a participé à quelques rallyes régionaux.
Récemment ont été changés : emetteur, récepteur d'embrayage; pompe à essence; pistons remplacés par des pistons forgés.
Le moteur 3 cylindres deux temps est conforme à l'origine.
L'auto n'est pas parfaite car elle a roulé depuis sa restauration, mais elle est dans un très bel état. Aucune corrosion à déplorer.
Visible dans le Sud de la France.
