Dit is een prachtig gerestaureerde series 1 Datsun 240Z met de originele matching nummers motor erin!
Deze Datsun 240Z is in 2018 geïmporteerd uit Amerika waarna hij direct naar de Z specialist Jan Rozendaal in Zuid Beijerland is gegaan voor een complete restauratie. De auto was in de basis erg solide en vrij van roest. Helaas is de restaurateur overleden waardoor er wat vertraging is opgelopen. De restauratie is dit jaar eindelijk door een andere Z specialist afgerond en het is een erg mooie niet verprutste Series 1 240Z geworden. Het is een eerlijke auto zonder roest en problemen. De 6 in lijn is heerlijke motor en dat maakt de 240Z een echte rijders auto.
Tijdens de restauratie zijn kosten nog moeite gespaard gebleven. Deze restauratie heeft totaal € 24.500 gekost, waarbij er € 11.000 aan nieuwe onderdelen zijn gebruikt. De motor is volledig aangepakt en heeft Weber carburateurs gekregen, denk hierbij tevens aan een versnellingsbak revisie, chromewerk, alle bouten, moeren en rubbers, accu is vervangen, de stoelen zijn aangepakt, de bodem is in nieuwstaat, nieuwe Rota RKR wielen met nieuwe Pirelli banden etc. etc.
Ondanks deze investering is het niet een over de top gerestaureerde auto, waardoor hij ook goed te gebruiken is voor bijvoorbeeld klassieker rally’s en toertochten.
De originele werkende carburateurs zijn ook nog aanwezig.
