Trade-in car. De Bentley Arnage en de Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph waren beide top limousines en beide het eerste nieuwe model sinds de jaren '80. De toenmalige eigenaar, Vickers, besloot dat de Rolls-Royce werd voorzien van een V12 en de Bentley een V8 zou krijgen. Immers, in een Rolls-Royce laat je je rijden en in een Bentley rijd je zelf. In dit geval gaat het om een Bentley Arnage uit 2004.
De auto wordt aangedreven door een 6.75 liter klepstoter V8 die in dit geval is gekoppeld aan een automatische transmissie met 4 versnellingen. De motor levert 456 pk
Met een lengte van 5,4 meter een breedte van 2,13 meter en een gewicht van ruim 2,5 ton is het in alle opzichten een zeer imposante auto.
Deze Bentley Arnage komt uit Frankrijk en bij de auto zijn alle originele boekjes, keurig in een lederen etui. Ook zijn er de nodige facturen bij de auto waaruit blijkt dat er de laatste jaren nog fors is geïnvesteerd in de Arnage. Zo is er onlangs voor ongeveer € 7.500 euro aan het onderstel en interieur uitgegeven.
De auto is optisch in een keurige staat, zowel het exterieur als ook het interieur zijn keurig passend bij de kilometerstand. Technisch gezien zouden we (al dan niet preventief) onderhoud willen adviseren.
Deze auto hebben wij binnengekregen en staat in onze loods. Om deze auto te bezichtigen is een afspraak vereist.

Histoire : Produite en seulement 1211 exemplaires (châssis LWB - Long Wheel Base), cette Bentley Turbo RL, millésime 1991, a été importée au Japon en 1995 via l’importateur Cornes.
C’est en 2007 qu’elle revient en Europe (Belgique) avec seulement 49.000 kms.
Nous connaissons tous les propriétaires depuis, jusqu’au dernier qui a effectué environ 20.000 kms ces dernières années.

État :

Ensemble : Cette auto est en excellent état, comme l’atteste un rapport d’expertise très complet disponible sur demande. Tous les consommables sont récents, et l’auto est prête à vous faire voyager dans un confort digne des plus belles berlines modernes.

Extérieur : Le toit en Everflex est en excellent état. La voiture a eu un voile de peinture il y a quelques années, dans sa teinte d’origine “Dark Oyster”.

Intérieur : L’intérieur est dans un état remarquable (voir photos). Les boiseries, bien que d’origine, sont en bon état général. Toute l’instrumentation est fonctionnelle.

Mécanique : Le fameux moteur 6 ¾ , alimenté par une injection Bosch et un turbo Garrett, délivre environ 320 ch, sans aucune vibration, et dans un silence impressionnant. Le moteur
offre un ralenti stable et de bonnes accelérations. Le passage des vitesses s’opère en souplesse. La direction et le train avant sont précis.

Soubassements et consommables : le châssis est en très bon état, sans corrosion ni blakson. Les pneumatiques ont été changés il y a 3 ans, et sont en excellent état.

This 1993 Bentley Brooklands is originally a California car that has been garaged, not smoked in and meticulously maintained. Bentley is in great mechanical condition with lots of maintenance done by previous owner and me. Service records and history including Carfax report are available.

 No further investments needed. Above that it is free of known Bentley bugs. Bentleys without R are also way cheaper for maintenance and more reliable!

Serviced in recent years with new parts:

This is a unique rust free Bentley which was never driven in snow and salt. The interior is well maintained with original lambswool carpets. Audio is through a 4x25W amplifier with 6-CD changer.
